“We shape our buildings; thereafter,
they shape us.”

Winston Churchill

From old to new

The cover layout has moved on significantly whilst retaining original colours and fonts that are recognisable to the customer. The CN logo lock-up that features alongside the text is a see-through element which brings the background image together like a window into the business.

Adaptable Logo

The core logo retains the CN yellow. The chevrons are a tip towards a design element that is used throughout the magazine. As a whole the logo eludes to a building construction with the layer style chevrons. The angle gives it an uplifting and aspirational edge.

Core Elements

Option 1 Stamp or mark: Used where the brand is known ie at events.
Option 2 Portrait: Used when space is at minimum.
Option 3 Landscape: Preferred option to be used on all comms.

Consideration of colour imagery that sits behind the masthead is an important factor when designing the graphic cover.
